Oh, how I love Conference weekend!

This blog has been abandoned for a long time, so I don't expect anyone will read this. But can I just say how much I love General Conference weekend? I mean, even with all of the kid noise and minor squabbling (ok, and some major squabbling). I love it. I love the leaders of our Church. When people say that they are "out of touch", I really have to wonder if they've ever heard them speak. And the choir sang "O Divine Redeemer" this time. Ah. It was good. It is worth watching TV for 4 hours each day of the weekend. Not many things are worth that.

I read it! Maybe you and I should just use this blog as our own personal web chat.

We had some technological issues that forced us to miss some sessions of conference (too much snow up at the cabin for satelite or internet to work), but the talks I got to see were great. Now I get to watch the ones I missed on the computer, and I have been enjoying those as well.

I read the blog, too, and I can't agree more! I love both listening to General Conference at home, sometimes with eyes closed, recognizing the voices without hearing the names, and at the chapel on the big screen, feeling like I'm in the Conference Center with them. It is so reassuring to know that there are men trying so hard to be like the Savior, who can testify because they know Him so well. You can just feel their love in what they say. Powerful talks.

I read it, too. I guess I'm just too lazy to post anything:) We love Conference, too, and were especially grateful for it's soothing effects after an especially stressful week just prior to it this time.

BTW- who is "pudge"?
